How can I reset two-factor authentication (2FA) for a user?

If you're an Administrator, you can reset 2FA for any user from the Users & Permissions section in the Merchant Dashboard.

⚠️ Only Admin users can perform this action.

How to reset 2FA

  1. Go to Settings > Users & Permissions.

  2. In the User list, search for the user you want to update.

  3. Click anywhere on the user's row to open their details view.

  4. Click the Reset 2FA button.

  5. Confirm the action in the dialog by clicking Yes, reset.


What happens next?

  • The current 2FA setup for the user will be removed, and they will receive an email with instructions to set it up again.

Important
2FA is a critical layer of protection that helps prevent unauthorized access to your account.

We strongly recommend keeping it enabled for all users, especially those with sensitive permissions.
