Setting up your user account in the Merchant Dashboard

This process will guide you through setting up a password and enabling two-factor authentication (2FA).

Account setup steps

Step 1: Receive your account setup email

Once your account is created by an administrator, you’ll receive an email from dLocal with a link to start the setup process. Click on the link in the email to begin.

Step 2: Create a new password

You will be prompted to create a password. Make sure to follow the password policy displayed on the screen to ensure your account’s security.

Step 3: Enable Two-Factor authentication (2FA)

After setting your password, you’ll be guided to enable two-factor authentication (2FA). For this step:

  • Install an authenticator app on your mobile device if you haven’t already. Recommended apps include Google Authenticator (IOS, Android) or Microsoft Authenticator.

  • Scan the QR code or enter the setup code provided to link your account with the authenticator app.

Step 4: Save your recovery code

During 2FA setup, you will receive a recovery code. Make sure to save this code in a secure place. You will need it if you ever lose access to your authenticator app.

Step 5: Log in to the Merchant Dashboard

Once you’ve completed these steps, you’re ready to log in! Enter your newly created password and the one-time code from your authenticator app to access the Merchant Dashboard.

What if my setup link has expired?

If your setup link has expired, you can request a new one by clicking “Resend email” on the setup page.
