Your dLocal account gives you access to all of our products, including the API and the Merchant Dashboard — one account, 40 countries.
Create your account
Follow these steps:
Step 1. Go to https://dashboard.dlocal.com/signup
Step 2. Complete the sign-up form
Step 3. Verify your email address
Step 4. Set your password and enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
✅ That’s it! Your account is now created.
Note: Your new account starts with Reviewing your account status.
Account statuses
Your account can have one of three statuses:
Status | Description |
Inactive | Test mode only. You can simulate payments using our sandbox environment and view them in the dashboard. |
Reviewing your account | Test mode only. You have access to your production credentials, but you can't process live transactions yet. |
Active | You can access both the sandbox and production environments and process live transactions. |

Going live
Before switching to the production environment, make sure you've tested your integration thoroughly in the sandbox.
Request access to production
Once testing is complete and your account setup is finalized, you're ready to go live. Before requesting access, please ensure:
Your KYC and onboarding processes are complete.
Your agreement with dLocal is signed.
Once everything is in place, contact your designated Technical Account Manager or email us at [email protected] to enable your production environment.

Configure your integration
Once your account is activated, complete the following steps:
Replace your test API key with your production API key.
Check the whitelisted IPs and the URL to ensure everything is correctly set up.
Now your business is live and ready to process payments with dLocal!
